Purpose
These proposed rules concern Al Manaarah teachers and applicants. Submitting an application or creating a draft profile does not establish employment, a teaching assignment or an approved qualification. Any employment or services agreement must be agreed separately.
Accurate profiles and qualifications
Provide accurate identity, experience, qualifications, teaching subjects and availability. Do not claim verification, accreditation or employment that has not been confirmed. Public profile publication requires permission and the academy’s verification process. Illustrative images must not be represented as photographs of an actual teacher.
Teaching scope and academic review
Teach within the subjects and levels confirmed by the academy. Religious teaching materials that require academic review must receive a genuine qualified review before publication. Do not invent reviewer identities, citations, approvals or learner achievements. Notify the academy if content may be inaccurate or outside your teaching scope.
Professional conduct and safeguarding
Communicate respectfully, avoid harassment and maintain appropriate professional boundaries. Use the communication arrangements agreed with the academy and guardians. Do not solicit private payments, disclose a learner’s details or move a child’s communication into an unapproved personal channel. Report safeguarding concerns through the academy’s designated process once confirmed.
Scheduling and lesson delivery
Keep availability accurate and confirm lesson times, time zones and delivery requirements before accepting an assignment. Notify the academy promptly about absence or technical disruption. Notice periods, cover arrangements, missed lessons and any financial consequences must be stated in the separate written teaching agreement.
Confidentiality and learner information
Access learner information only as needed for assigned work. Use approved channels and do not copy learner records into personal public services. Obtain the required permissions before recording, photographing or sharing lessons. Return or securely remove information when instructed through an agreed retention and offboarding process, subject to applicable obligations.
Materials and intellectual property
Use materials you have the right to use and credit sources where appropriate. Do not upload copyrighted books, recordings or third-party photographs without permission. Ownership and permitted reuse of teacher-created materials must be specified in the written teaching agreement.
Compensation and engagement
Rates, payment schedule, tax responsibilities, employment or contractor status, cancellation arrangements and termination conditions require a separate approved agreement. These website terms do not set a salary, create guaranteed hours, impose a penalty or replace statutory rights.
Applications, concerns and updates
Teaching applications can be submitted through the Careers form. For an application inquiry contact job@al-manaarah.com; for service or privacy concerns contact cs@al-manaarah.com. This draft requires academy approval of its safeguarding contacts and operational procedures before adoption. It does not record a teacher’s consent or acceptance.
